Colombia’s December LNG imports are set to hit a record high, according to Platts.

  • The Vivit America LNG, carrying 70k mt of LNG is headed to the SPEC LNG terminal in Cartagena. It is expected to arrive Dec. 25.
  • Colombia has imported 290k mt of LNG in Dec so far, consisting of 4 cargoes. This could rise to 360k mt with the arrival of the Vivit America.
  • LNG imports into Colombia hit a monthly record of 330k mt in October.
