Colombia’s oil and natural gas reserves were seen falling at the end of 2023, according to its hydrocarbon agency ANH, cited by El Tiempo.

  • Without new discoveries, the country’s oil reserves would run out in just 7.1 years as of end year 2023. In 2022 that number was 7.5 years.
  • Natural gas reserves are enough for around 6.1 years, with total reserves falling 16% on the year.
