  • CVC Capital and Groupe TF1 are reportedly exploring a joint bid to split the company: CVC targeting the production arm (ITV Studios) and TF1 eyeing the broadcasting/streaming assets (ITVX). RedBird Capital-owned All3Media and Mediawan also listed as potential suitors. "They would only get the assets, though, in a deal worth double the current share price."
  • “The person added, however, that Dame Carolyn McCall, ITV's long-serving chief executive, had been discussing with the company's financial advisers the merits of a demerger or other form of separation of its two main business units” though work conducted has not advanced enough to require disclosure
