  • Argentina’s congress delayed at least until next week a vote on President Javier Milei’s austerity measures due to lack of consensus on key proposals to raise taxes and change the country’s pension system, Bloomberg report.
  • The debate on the measures is expected to resume next week, although an exact date hasn’t been set yet, according to the lower house’s press office.
  • “We hope it will be debated as soon as possible,” a spokesperson for Milei said.
