ConocoPhillips Books Regard Capacity at Zeebrugge

ConocoPhillips has booked 0.75m mtpa of long-term LNG import capacity at Belgium’s Zeebrugge terminal starting April 2027 as it continues to expand its regas capacity in Europe.

  • Bloomberg reported that the deal is for a period of 18 years.
  • The deal gives company access to the Belgian gas market, as well as connected markets including France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
  • Suppliers are looking to capitalise on Europe’s pivot towards LNG as a way of cutting its previous dependence on Russian pipeline gas.
