Consumer Confidence Lower, Inflation Expectations Nudge Higher

SOUTH KOREA

South Korea consumer confidence for October edged down to 88.8 form 91.4 last month. Most components of the survey were weaker over the month, although the headline reading is still above the July trough of 86.0.

  • Consumer inflation expectations edge up to 4.3, from 4.2 last month. Still, we remain below the July high of 4.7 for this measure.
