Cove Point LNG Flows Rebound

Feedgas flows into Cove Point LNG have rebounded on the day, possibility indicating that the scheduled maintenance at the facility is ending.

  • Feedgas intake is currently 0.75 bcf/d as of Oct. 12 according to Bloomberg data. It had been at near zero since Sep. 20. Feedgas flows into the terminal averaged 0.843 bcf/d from Jan-Aug 2023.
  • As a result, total feedgas intake into US LNG terminals has climbed to its highest since April 24 at 13.93 bcf/d, Bloomberg data also showed.
  • Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s Cove Point LNG terminal began seasonal fall maintenance on 14 September and was due to last around four weeks.
