Croatia Awards 416MW in June Renewables Tender

The Croatian Energy Market Operator (HROTE) has awarded 416.1MW to 92 projects in its latest renewable tender round from June, according to RenewablesNow.

  • A total of 144 bids were submitted for 713.4MW of capacity.
  • The operator tendered new solar PV, onshore wind and hydropower capacity. No wind capacity has been awarded.
  • The average reference price for the solar projects of 1-10MW was at €56.54/MWh and for solar plans with capacity of 20KW to 6MW was at €77.78/MWh.
  • Each winning project will be able to receive a market premium of up to €30mn, with selected developers to submit guarantees of €39.82/ kW for the construction of the projects.
