Croatia’s Rijeka Refinery to Complete Maintenance Mid-March

Maintenance works at INA’s 90.4kbpd Rijeka refinery will end mid-March and the refinery is returning at full capacity in April, INA management board president Zsuzsanna Ortutay said.

  • Units will be restarted one by one, she added.
  • Construction on the delayed coker at the refinery won’t affect operations once the turnaround is completed. Works are the new coker started in 2019, she said.
  • Previously, the firm said it is planning a refinery shutdown in early 2024 which is scheduled to last for three months.
