Crude and oil product markets tick higher on Libya production and India exports

  • Libya production is reported as falling further today after protests cause more port closures and India’s introduction of a tax on fuel exports are both adding upwards pressure to prices. Demand fears on the back of a US recession have not gone away and continue to limit any upwards moves.

  • Gasoil JUL 22 up 5.9% at 1228$/mt
