Crude futures have bounced back from the technical support level of $71.50/bbl amid better-than-expected new home sales and consumer confidence data from the US.

  • API data last night showed a 2.4mn US crude draw.
  • SUP 1: $71.50 - Low May 31
  • SUP 2: $71.20 - Low Jun 20 / Low May 4
  • Brent AUG 23 up 0.8% at 72.84$/bbl
  • WTI AUG 23 up 0.9% at 68.33$/bbl
