FOREX: Currency's overall had a very quiet session with the main focus being on
cable and BREXIT negations. Early in the NY session saw reports from the BBC
that a BREXIT agreement would be announced today, this saw cable spike to
session highs of $1.3539. Towards the European close it was announced that there
would be no deal announced today, the rate dropped like a stone to session lows
of $1.3414 before recovering on the back of comments from PM May that talks are
going very well.
-Aussie: A very quiet session for the pair, as the market awaited the release of
the (RBA Tuesday morning 03.30GMT), the pair was in consolidation mode trading
in a very tight range of $0.7593-0.7614.
-Yen: Was led by US Tsys yields through the session, the rate did print a new 2
week high of Y113.09 in early NY but slowly drifted lower through the afternoon
session with the falling to pullback lows of Y112.68 before recovering slightly.
-Euro: The dollar had a decent session against the Euro with the rate dropping
to an intra-day low of $1.1829 before grinding towards $1.1860 .
