Curve Bear Flattens As Equities Soar

SOUTH KOREA

Short end yields rise as the KOSPI pushes further over the 3,000 mark. Some bear flattening seen. Futures have continued to be pressured with the 10-year down 0.23 at 129.47, hovering around contract lows.

  • Foreign funds bought a net $152.04m in bonds yesterday, constituting net purchases in the first 4 days of the week of approximately $400M. Exchange data shows they bought a net $114.3m in local equities.
