AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Curve steepening has been apparent since Monday's settlement, in
sympathy with the moves seen in U.S. Tsys, with little of note on the local news
front as of yet.
- YM -1.0, XM -4.5, with the latter having a look through its SYCOM lows in
early Sydney trade.
- Bills print -1 to +1 through the reds, with the interbank overnight cash rate
easing by 1bp to 13bp at the latest fixing.
- Local focus falls on the release of the minutes from the RBA's most recent
monetary policy decision, which is being viewed as a bit of a non-event by
markets ahead of the release scheduled for later today. Nevertheless, the
document will be skimmed for any detail re: hints on triggers for fresh RBA ACGB
purchases.
