NATGAS: Czech Republic Offers Slovakia Gas Support

The Czech Republic is ready to supply Slovakia with gas transit and storage to help it secure supplies after Ukraine transit ends the Czech Industry Ministry said on Monday.

  • Industry Minister Lukas Vlcek has written to his Slovak counterpart to say the Czech Republic could provide additional capacity, both in this heating season and on a long-term basis.
  • He added the scrapped German gas levy fee from Jan.1 will help to make gas in the region more affordable.
