CZECHIA: CNB Governor Says Board Can Halt Rate Cuts in Coming Months

Both the CNB’s vote split and the initial hawkish comments from Michl’s press conference are doing little to shift the needle for EURCZK, which remains just above session lows at typing. The cross remains 0.35% lower on the session, with CZK gains still lagging that of HUF and PLN. USDCZK losses are more pronounced at around 1.1% though we still stand some way off pre-election levels.
