CZECHIA: CNB Raises Minimum Reserve Requirement to 4% from 2%

  • The Czech National Bank Board decided to change the minimum reserve requirement from the current rate of 2% to 4% of the reserve base, except for repo liabilities. The new rate becomes effective on 2 January 2025.
