CZECHIA: Finance Ministry To Publish Debt Issuance Schedule

  • EUR/CZK tested resistance from the 23.6% retracement of the Jun 7 - Jul 15 rally last Friday but failed to sink through that level and continues to operate above there. The pair's pullback from cyclical highs over the past two weeks or so has allowed it to unwind overbought conditions, with the RSI moving back below the 70 threshold.
  • Prime Minister Petr Fiala called US President Joe Biden's decision to pull out of the race for re-election a "decision of a stateman" and a "responsible and personally difficult step." Meanwhile, opposition leader Andrej Babis said that he "still believe[s] in the victory of former President Trump, who promised to quickly end this crazy war."
  • The Finance Ministry will publish its debt issuance schedule for August at 13:00BST/14:00CEST.
