Data Suggests Summer Demand Has Peaked

JET FUEL

Global passenger jet fuel demand for the week ending Aug 24 decreased by 0.5% from a week earlier suggesting the summer travel has peaked according to Bloomberg.

  • Asia Pacific jet fuel demand fell by 2% but Europe increased by 0.04$ and the ‘Rest of World’ increased by 0.3%.
  • Jet fuel demand from domestic flights dropped 1.3% on the week but international flights demand rose 0.1%.
