AUSSIE: Despite remarks from RBA Assistant Governor Kent that said it will be
some time before rates normalise, aussie-dollar extended its recovery overnight
amid an improved risk appetite. Rate squeezed to $0.7919 before fading to hold
$0.7905-15 for the balance of the session. Cross sales emerged ahead of and into
Europe, aussie drifted to the $0.7888/93 area. The Asia low provides initial
support at $0.7876, a break opens $0.7840/39 (Jul17 high now support, Aug11
low).
