Deutsche Bank Boost Year-end Turkish Yield Forecast

Deutsche Bank on Turkey:

  • Local fixed income is fundamentally cheap in the context of the recent sell-off and now sit at levels that offer a decent risk premium.
  • Deutsche now see Turkish bond yields ending 2021 at a 'significantly' higher level than initially thought, with 2, 5, 10-yr local CCY yields likely to finish at and around 16-17% vs. Previous forecast of 12.5%.
