DMO FQ4 Ops and Additional Auction: Longs

GILTS
  • There are 5 remaining long auctions (1 additional on 13 December, 4 in FQ4).
  • 4.75% Oct-43 gilt: 2 auctions (MNI expected 1-2): 9 January, 5 March
  • 3.75% Oct-53 gilt: Additional auction on 13 December and no further reopenings in FQ4 (as expected given the syndicated launch of the new 30-year gilt).
  • New 30-year gilt: No auctions to reopen this gilt that will be launched via syndication in January (1 had been expected).
  • 1.50% Jul-53 Green: 1 reopening as expected on 6 February.
  • 4.00% Oct-63: 1 auction on 20 February (MNI had thought there was a chance of this but noted that we have not seen a gilt with a residual maturity of 31 years or greater sold via auction in this fiscal year to date).
