DNO Boosts Kurdistan Oil Output

DNO announced that its gross production from the Tawke field in the Kurdistan region is increasing to around 90kbpd in December, up from an average production of 26kbpd in the third quarter, the firm said, cited by Bloomberg.

  • Gross output from the field was projected to reach 65kbpd in the fourth quarter.
  • Output halted in the second quarter after the halt to flows of the Iraq-Turkey pipeline end-March.
  • “We remain confident that the latest challenges facing DNO and the other international oil companies will be resolved once again and we remain committed to growing our business in Kurdistan as we have over the past two decades,” DNO Executive Chairman, Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani said.
