DOLLAR-THB : USD/THB has given away 5 pips so far and last changes hands at

THB31.54. The Bangkok Post published a source report noting that "the BoT has

sought the opinion of FX dealers on whether to shift gold price quotation to USD

for exports, imports & related activities, and whether to scale back issuance or

temporarily scrap sales of short-dated bonds in a bid to curb the baht's rapid

gains".

- A fall below THB31.50, which limited losses on Jun 2, is needed to expose the

THB31.32/31 area, hosting the lows of Mar 5/4/2. Bulls look for a recoil above

the 100-DMA at THB31.78, which would bring May 25 high of THB32.00 into play.

- Thailand's foreign reserves data is due later today.
