DOLLAR-WON: Tuesday saw BNY Mellon note that "fears that the BOK is behind the
curve are on the rise and uncertainty is growing therefore. Certainly, FX flows
have turned very negative: investors took advantage of the move in USD/KRW to
near six-week lows during the middle of September to aggressively build their
short positions in the KRW. In fact, these flows were some of the largest seen
against the currency since the launch of BNY Mellon's iFlow in the early
millennium, with two days of outflows equivalent to more than six times the
average outflow seen over the past six months. In other words, flow appears to
suggest little appetite for the currency at current levels - something that has
been evident since the KRW's plunge in early August."
