  • Seznam Zpravy's election model (poll of polls) showed that the main opposition ANO party continues to lead the back with a support rate of 33.8% on average, followed by Prime Minister Petr Fiala's ODS on 13.9%, the Pirate Party on 10.6%, SPD on 9.4%, STAN on 7.1% and TOP 09 on 5.2%. No other party would make it past the 5% electoral threshold.
  • Environment Minister Petr Hladik said that Czechia will need four new nuclear reactors in the future, adding that the government should decide on the bids of applicants for the construction of new blocs by the end of June.
  • The CZSO released a batch of economic activity data for February this morning:
    • Industrial Output +1.5% Y/Y (BBG est. +1.9%)
    • Trade Balance +CZK34.6bn (BBG est. +8.9bn)
    • Construction Output +3.6% Y/Y
