POWER: DRI Signs Solar PV PPA in Romania

DRI has signed an 8.5 year PPA with OMV Petrom in Romania to supply 100GWh/yr of renewable power from January 2026 according to RenewsBiz. 

  • The PPA is set at a fixed rate and also includes the sale of Guarantees of Origin.
  • DRI will supply power from the Goldeni 1 and 2 solar PV plants, that have a combined capacity of 113MW, from 2026.
  • From 2027, DRI will supply power from its 126MW Vacaresti solar project that is scheduled to start construction in 2025.
