DXY is virtually unchanged on the day and....>

DOLLAR
DOLLAR: DXY is virtually unchanged on the day and last sits at 96.34, as G10
dollar crosses have stuck to very tight ranges thus far. WTI & gold also trade
flat. This comes after the dollar index finished Monday unchanged. 
- DXY bears look to yesterday's low of 96.20, while the next level of support
below is provided by the 21-DMA at 96.14, followed by the 100-DMA at 96.08.
Conversely, bulls keep an eye on 96.43, where the index peaked yesterday, before
shifting focus to the 50-DMA at 96.59. 
- U.S. highlights this week include initial jobless claims, as well as flash Jan
m'fing & services PMI figures due Thursday. As a reminder, the U.S. delegation
dropped out of the WEF in Davos to focus on resolving the gov't shutdown issue
at home.
