E.ON Ups Network Investment, Gas & Power Volumes Fall

German E.ON increased its investment in expanding and upgrading its network by €500mn on the year in 1H24 to €2.9bn, while the firm's power and gas sales declined on the year, it said.

  • The firm's power sales were down by 14.4bn kWh to 109.5bn kWh.
  • Gas power sales fell by 27.6bn kWh to 217.6bn kWh.
  • The main reason for this was due to mild weather, energy conservation and consumption, the firm added.
