US VIEW: Economists at Deutsche Bank eyed the Wed 2pm ET FOMC meeting minutes
from the recent Sept. 19th-20th meeting. "With respect to the FOMC minutes,
inflation will likely be a heavily debated topic, but given the recent Fedspeak,

voting Chicago Fed President Evans (Wednesday), as well as Fed Governors
Brainard and Powell (Thursday)," they said. "Similar to Brainard, Evans has
recently indicated some hesitation to raising rates in December given the soft
inflation backdrop. Thus, it will be interesting to see if the latest employment
data, particularly the noticeable drop in the unemployment rate, have influenced
their near-term views."
