Ecuador’s Crude Production Falls Below 0.4m b/d on Pipeline Outage

Ecuador’s crude oil production has fallen below 0.4m b/d as of June 23 amid a major pipeline outage, Bloomberg said.

  • Output fell to 392.7k b/d, down from 486k b/d June 10, when the pipeline was shut due to bad weather, forcing producers to shut wells.
  • Before the outage, the country expected to produce an average of 486.2k b/d.
