Ecuador’s OCP May Restart Pipeline in 10 Days

The heavy crude pipeline belonging to private company OCP could restart in 10 days, according to Minister Roberto Luque, cited by Bloomberg.

  • OSP is building a new bypass segment at a critical juncture of the pipeline affected by major erosion along a river.
  • State oil company PetroEcuador’s SOTE pipeline is unaffected, but there are plans for a new bypass near the affected area of the OCP pipeline, Bloomberg said.
