Early results of U.S. elections have only stirred the pot, pushing the DXY higher. The index last sits +10 pips at 93.65, with all eyes on incoming reports. So far, Trump has pretty much done what he needed to stay in the game and continues to lead in Florida, which turns focus to Ohio & Pennsylvania.

  • From a technical perspective, a move through the 100-DMA/Oct 2 high at 94.19/29 would signal potential for further gains, bringing Sep 25 high of 94.74 into play. On the flip side, a slide past the 50-DMA/Nov 3 low at 93.37/29 would please bears, exposing key support from Oct 21 of 92.47.
