EemsEnergyTerminal at Full Capacity by Late Nov/Early Dec

The new Dutch 8bcm/yr LNG import terminal at Eemshaven is set to operate at full capacity by the end of November or early December according to operator Gasunie on Sep 9.

  • The initial commissioning LNG cargo arrived at the new FSRU terminal from Sabine Pass in US on Sep 8
  • Gas supply is expected to flow into the Gasunie grid from mid-September.
  • The FRSU vessels at the terminal have been chartered for 5 years. The EemsEnergyTerminal is expected to receive 18 LNG cargoes before the end of the year.
