    • “We’re not going to sit alongside the Democratic Alliance and Freedom Front Plus in government as the Economic Freedom Fighters, and we’re not desperate for positions in government,” EFF Deputy President Floyd Shivambu tells reporters in Johannesburg.
  • The South African rand has jumped in recent trade with USDZAR revisiting the early European lows around 18.80, down 0.91% on the session.
  • Overall, the continuation higher this week in USDZAR reinforces a short-term bullish theme and initial support to watch lies at 18.4946, the Jun 3 low. Clearance of this level would instead highlight a possible short-term bearish reversal.
