EGB/Gilt - Trade in the red

  • Although a lighter session in terms of volumes, EGBs and especially Bund have still seen decent ranges, albeit still well within the past week's range.
  • All peripheral spread, besides Greece are wider versus the German 10yr.Greece is 0.7 tighter, while Italy is 2.8bps wider
  • Europe trade in the red while Treasuries are mainly in the green.
  • Gilts have traded inline with Bund, , with Gilt/Bund spread just 0.7bp wider on the session.
  • Looking ahead to tomorrow, sees US Durable goods as the only noticeable release. Michigan will be final reading.
  • Gilt futures are down 30 ticks at 125.52-
  • Bund futures are down -0.35 today at 172.96 with 10y Bund yields up 2.6bp at -0.283% and Schatz yields up 1.1bp at -0.696%.
  • BTP futures are down -0.62 today at 148.36 with 10y yields up 5.3bp at 1.058% and 2y yields up 3.4bp at -0.183%.
  • OAT futures are down -0.44 today at 164.74 with 10y yields up 3.2bp at 0.089% and 2y yields up 0.3bp at -0.684%.
