EUROZONE ISSUANCE

Italy and Finland both still look to sell bonds this week while Belgium, the EU, Germany and Finland have already come to the market. We pencil in gross nominal issuance of E36.7bln from announced operations, down from E47.5bln last week.

  • This morning, Italy will hold a 5/10-year/CCTeu auction. It will reopen the 5-year 3.40% Apr-28 BTP (ISIN: IT0005521981) for E2.0-2.5bln, launch a new 10-year 4.35% Nov-33 BTP (ISIN: IT0005544082) for E4.5-5.0bln and a reopen the 0.80% Oct-28 CCTeu (ISIN: IT0005534984) for E1.0-1.5bln.
  • Also today, Finland will hold an ORI operation for up to a combined E400mln. On offer will be the 0.875% Sep-25 RFGB (ISIN: FI4000167317) and the 0.50% Sep-29 RFGB (ISIN: FI4000369467).
