EUROZONE ISSUANCE

Spain launched its inaugural Green Obli via syndication yesterday while Austria and Germany held auctions, raising a combined total of E7.3bln.

  • Austria kicked off issuance for the week, allotting E1.40bln of 10/16-year RAGBs with issuance volumes of of E1.61bln. The 0% Feb-31 saw E600mln allotted with an issuance volume of E690mln and the 4.15% Mar-37 RAGB saw E800mln allotted with an issuance volume of E920mln.
  • Germany held a linker auction, allotting E556mln with issuance volumes of E700mln. E490mln nominal of the 0.50% Apr-30 ILB was allotted with issuance volumes of E600mln (up from a target of E500mln) and E66mln nominal of the 0.10% Apr-46 ILB was allotted with an issuance volume of E100mln (down from a target of E200mln).
  • Spain launched its new 1.00% Jul-42 Green Obli via syndication for E5.0bln, seeing strong demand with books in excess of E60bln.
