EGB Supply For Oct 4-6, 2021: Recap

EUROZONE ISSUANCE

The ESM, Austria, Germany and Slovakia have sold E9.0bln of bonds so far this week.

  • The ESM came to the market on Monday and completed its 2021 funding by selling E2.0bln of its 0% Dec-24 bond via syndicated tap.
  • On Tuesday, Austria came to the market to sell E1.265bln of its 4/10-year benchmark RAGBs: E550mln of each of the the 0% Apr-25 RAGB and the 0% Feb-31 RAGB was allotted with issuance sizes of E632.5mln.
  • Germany then sold E700mln linkers: allotting E405mln of the 0.10% Apr-33 ILB and E95mln of the 0.10% Apr-46 ILB with issuance sizes of E500mln and E200mln respectively.
  • Germany returned to the market Wednesday, allotting E3.235bln of the 0% Oct-26 Bobl with issuance volumes of E4.0bln.
  • Slovakia on Wednesday held a syndication, selling E1.0bln of the new 1.00% Oct-51 SlovGB with a book size in excess of E3.6bln.
