and then with risk appetite ramped up even further on COVID treatment optimism
and a blowout US retail sales beat - only to fall to panic on Coronavirus 2nd
wave fears out of the US and China late afternoon.
- Bunds and Gilts surged and peripheries pared gains, settling back as equity
markets regained their composure. ** Closing cash levels:
* Germany: The 2-Yr yield is up 0.7bps at -0.652%, 5-Yr is up 1.4bps at -0.637%,
10-Yr is up 1.9bps at -0.427%, and 30-Yr is up 1.8bps at 0.056%.
* UK: The 2-Yr yield is down 0.4bps at -0.041%, 5-Yr is down 0.2bps at 0.002%,
10-Yr is up 0.2bps at 0.207%, and 30-Yr is up 1.2bps at 0.614%.
** 10-Yr Periphery EGB Spreads:
* Italian BTPs vs Bunds down 8bps at 182.4bps
* Spanish bonds vs Bunds down 4.7bps at 96bps
* Portuguese PGBs vs Bunds down 3.4bps at 95.7bps
* Greek bonds vs Bunds down 7.8bps at 158.7bps
