Monday following a fairly quiet overnight Asia-Pac session.
- All focus is on the big two central bank decisions in the coming 10 days: ECB
on Thursday and US Fed a week from Wednesday. ECB not expected to take action
but set to tee up measures for Sep meeting. Full MNI preview later this week.
- Periphery EGB spreads trading mixed, 10-Yr IT/ES/PT/GR +/- 2bps to Bunds.
- Repubblica reported Italy`s Salvini considering replacing Conte as PM.
- Voting deadline for UK Cons. leadership tonight; Johnson seen winning easily.
- Belgium sells up to E2bln in OLOs this morning in a thin week for supply.
- No data today of note in Europe, and thin all week (flash PMIs a highlight).
- Euribor strip steady; Short Stg up 1.5-2.5 ticks in Reds thru Golds.
