-Conservatives led by Andrew Scheer have 44% chance of winning government with
minority of seats in House of Commons, up from 43% Wed., CBC poll tracker shows.
Liberals also have 44% chance of minority government.
-Conservatives hold 32% popular support, Liberals 31%, CBC poll tracker shows.
-Party must win majority of 338 seats in House of Commons to pass budgets and
legislation without opposition support.
-Trudeau endorsed yesterday by former US President Obama.
-Last days of campaigning focused on questions of how parties might cooperate in
minority Parliament. No major party has said it will eliminate budget deficit
within a four-year mandate.
