The latest EUA Northern Irish Primary Auction CAP3 has cleared at €62.89/ton CO2e, down from the previous auction at €78.78/ton CO2e held on 4 October 2023, EEX data showed. 

  • The cover ratio was at 2.43. The cover ratio stood at 2.21 in last year’s auction.
  • The auction volume stood at 926,500, down from a volume of 1,000,000 in last year’s auction.
  • There was a total of 15 bids with 13 successful bids.
  • The mean price was at €63.66/t CO2e and the median price was at €62.82/ton CO2e.
