EMISSIONS: Switzerland Lowered 2023 CO2 Emissions by 42%

Switzerland has lowered its carbon emissions by 42% in 2023 compared with 2006 levels and is on track to reach the target to reduce emissions by 50% compared with 2006 levels by 2030, the government said.
