LNG

EnBW has entered a capacity agreement to import 3bcm/yr of LNG at the Hanseatic Hub Terminal in Stade, according to Bloomberg.

  • The deal will run for 25 years and includes the possibility of importing green ammonia in the future.
  • The capacity under the agreement accounts for around 25% of the terminal’s capacity.
  • The start of the land-based terminal in Stade was pushed back to early-2027, from 2026 previously scheduled, as the operator is working to make it ready to receive green ammonia, according to Hanseatic’s Managing Director Johann Killinger said.
