CWE power futures have rebounded today after Monday’s plunge supported by gains in European carbon allowances and natural gas prices with escalating Middle East risks.
- France Base Power SEP 24 up 1.3% at 59.51 EUR/MWh
- Germany Base Power SEP 24 up 3% at 86.67 EUR/MWh
- EUA DEC 24 up 1.7% at 69.9 EUR/MT
- TTF Gas SEP 24 up 3.3% at 36.685 EUR/MWh
- Rotterdam Coal SEP 24 up 1.6% at 121.5 USD/MT
- TTF front month is holding onto gains today supported by a recovery in wider market risk sentiment and with escalating Middle East risks. "US beginning to see some Iranian preparations for a potential military response to Israel, according to two US officials familiar with the intelligence.
