Energy Policy Discussion Postponed, Retail Sales Data Up Today

  • The Constitutional Tribunal remains deadlocked as Chief Justice Julia Przylebska yet again postponed a meeting to verify the constitutionality of EU treaties which provide legal grounds for imposing financial sanctions on Poland by the European Commission.
  • Polish retail sales data for February will hit the wires at 09:00GMT/10:00CET. Consensus looks for a 1.5% Y/Y decline in real retail sales as inflation remains elevated. At the same time, we will get the latest construction output data.
