Equinor has announced a delay to its investment decision for the Wisting oil discovery project in the Arctic Barents Sea, amid rising costs.

  • “In our updated investment estimate for the project, we see a cost increase due to increased global inflation and cost growth in the supply industry”, Equinor wrote in a statement.
