EU/Angola Oil Talks Set for Q4

The EU is set to begin talks with Angola - in part surrounding oil supplies in the last quarter of this year according to Reuters.

  • "We are now in a position to open formal negotiations, but there is not yet a date agreed with Angola. We expect this to happen in the last quarter of this year," an EU spokesperson told Reuters.
  • Angola has been identified by the EU as a key source of oil as the region moves away from Russian flows.
