EU Gas Maintenance: Norwegian Outages To Ease Further Late Next Week

Norwegian natural outages are further to scheduled to rise early next week before easing back in the second half of next with, with Norwegian annual maintenance coming to an end. The Dunkerque LNG terminal in France is concluding annual maintenance today, Gassco remit data show.

  • Norwegian gas pipeline flows were nominated at 257.3mcm/d as Norwegian maintenance seasonal is slowly coming to and end. Norwegian outages will reduce to 67-70mcm/d this weekend, before rising to 81-85mcm/d on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • The 125mcm/d Troll field has still not fully returned from maintenance. Additional works, limiting supply by 20mcm/d, have been scheduled for 3-4 Oct and for 4-5 Oct with 35mcm/d unavailable. Supply will be limited by 10mcm/d on 19 Sept to 9 Oct, by 29mcm/d on 9 Oct until 12 Oct, by 15mcm/d on 12-16 Oct and by 6mcm/d on 22-23 Oct.
  • The Karsto processing facility has additional works planned on 29 Sept until 5 Oct, limiting supply by 9.6mcm/d.
  • Maintenance at the Skarv field will last until 3 Oct, limiting full supply of 22.1mcm/d. More works have been scheduled for 3-4 October with 15.4mcm/d unavailable, for 4-7 Oct wih 10.4mcm/d unavailable and on 7-8 Oct with 5.4mcm/d unavailable.
  • The maintenance at the Ormen Lange field will last until 7 Oct, affecting 24.5mcm/d.
  • Asgard will have 6.3mcm/d unavailable on 29-30 Sept in an unplanned outage.
  • Sleipner also scheduled small works for 28-29 Sept.
  • The Dvalin field was scheduled to return from maintenance on Saturday. An unplanned outage at the field will limit output by 7mcm/d on 1-2 Oct.
  • The small maintenance at the Kvitebjorn field has been extended by two days until 1 October. Additional maintenance has been scheduled for 22-23 Oct.
  • Oseberg works have been delayed by three days to 3 October to last one day.
  • The ongoing repairs at the Kollsnes processing plant will reduce supplies by 11mcm/d until 16 Oct.
  • In France, the Dunkerque LNG is concluding maintenance today. The Fos Cavaou LNG terminal will have no flows until 2 Oct.
  • In the UK, unavailability at the St. Fergus terminal is as followed during annual maintenance:
  • 30.8mcm/d until 2 October, 10.8mcm/d until 9 Nov, 15.8mc/d on 20 Oct until 1 Nov, 30.8mcm/d on 19-20 Oct.
  • The Barrow North terminal will have limited availability until 8 Oct.
  • In Germany, the Emden gas terminal will start works two days later on 3 Oct.
  • The Dutch Gate LNG terminal will have sendout cuts on 5 Oct.
